52.5mm Recticel Insulated Plasterboard
This two in one product, cuts down installation down by combining plasterboard and PIR insulation into one convenient board. The dimensions of this board is 2400mm x 1200mm with a total coverage of 2.88m2 per board.
The Recticel Eurothane PL is a high performance board. It consists of a closed cell structure, and provides excellent thermal efficiency. The Eurothane PL board is an environmentally friendly option. Insulated plasterboard by Recticel has all the benefits of PIR insulation and also plasterboard.
This Eurothane PL board is a durable board with an impressive compression strength of ≥ 120 kPa. In addition to this, the board consists of straight edges with tapered edges on long sides.
The 52.5mm Recticel Insulated Plasterboard (Eurothane PL) features plasterboard bonded to PIR. The thickness of the plasterboard is 12.5mm and the remaining thickness is the PIR insulation. This board is faced with a multilayer foil on both sides. In addition to this, this board features built in vapour resistance to help control the movement of moisture.

These boards are easy to cut using a utility knife. The cutting process is simple. You can score the plasterboard surface whilst ensuring the PIR layer is also cut through. Once this board has been scored then it can be easily snapped along the cut line. This makes the boards hassle free and easy to cut, handle and install. If you find the board is too thick, then you can also use a handsaw or circular saw to make a clean cut.
