Moisture Resistant Plasterboard

Moisture resistant plasterboards are made up of a high-quality gypsum core packed into heavy-duty green paper facings. The moisture plasterboard has a gypsum core that is reinforced with water-repellent additives during the manufacturing process to withstand areas with high moisture levels. The boards are available in a tapered edge (TE) to achieve a seamless finish.

MR (Moisture Resistant) plasterboards also referred to as moisture panels are designed for areas with high moisture levels such as kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms, made to tolerate moist and humid conditions. This green panel will limit the growth of mould due to its moisture resistant properties which will prevent damage caused by moisture such as damp or rot. These panels are suitable for many finishing products including the direct application of tiles. It is recommended to pair MR boards with other components and systems that resist moisture for the best results.

Knauf Moisture Panel

Knauf moisture panel is a high performing plasterboard for internal areas of high humidity and consists of a high-density core that is water-repellent. This green panel is available in thicknesses of 12.5mm and 15mm with a tapered edge. These boards are great for areas with factors that could cause damage to the internal structure such as condensation, damp, mould and rot.

Siniat GTEC Moisture

Siniat GTEC moisture boards have a water-resistant core that provides moisture resistance in stud walls, partitions, wall lining, and ceiling systems. The Siniat Moisture Board is suitable in areas where moisture is present in the environment. These boards can be purchased in thicknesses of 12.5mm and 15mm.
